Objectives Of Voter List J&K

The main and primary objective of launching the Jammu & Kashmir Voter List is to provide the list of all those eligible voters who have recently applied for the voter ID card in return for casting a vote in an election campaign. This will provide an opportunity for the voters to experience the online electoral services provided by the government on the online portal.

Another objective of launching the J&K Election Voter List is to put a reduction on the time-consuming process of viewing names in the voter list while visiting and taking multiple rounds of government offices. This system will also provide transparency and answerability in the procedure of election campaigns. No one will be left behind in getting electoral services provided by the government.

Stoppage To Time-Consuming Process

After the rising digital platform of the voter list, it will put emphasis on the reduction of the time-consuming process which was generated when we adopted old or traditional methods of viewing names in the voter list while visiting the government body. Now the applicant can easily check their names while sitting at home by surfing the internet.

Voter Helpline No.

For facilitating the complaints or grievances from the voters, the government has also provided a voter helpline number on the official website. Voters will only have to dial the number 1950 for registering complaints, suggestions, feedback, and information regarding the election process. For the maintenance of the database, each call will be recorded in their database.

NVSP Portal

Citizens can access the NVSP Portal for getting information about voter ID, the Electoral List, and details of the polling booth. For securing such kinds of queries from the voters, the government has specially launched this portal, so that no one will be left out to register their queries on this portal. National Grievance Redressal Service

• Questions are MCQ based.
• Questions are related to the election processes in India, the history of elections and landmark events in the democratic journey of the country and electoral roll, EVM & VVPAT, Election Law and IT Applications, etc.

• This competition is open to all age groups.

• The completion is open to all age groups.
• The poster must be based on the theme: – “My Vote Is My Future.”
• Only one submission per participant is allowed.
