Objectives of Merit Scholarship

The primary or major objective of launching the Merit Scholarship is to provide scholarship amounts to meritorious students in the form of financial help and support so that they will be inspired to carry out a higher course of study despite belonging to the EWS communities, SC and ST communities.

Another objective of launching the Merit Scholarship is to provide a list of integrated scholarships in the major categories such as Private Funded Scholarships and Government Funded Scholarships by which the students will be able to get the scholarship amounts on the basis of the category to which they want to enrol for receiving the scholarship amounts.

Features of Merit Scholarship 2024-25

The features of this scholarship are as follows:-

  • The student must belong to the SC, EWS and ST communities.
  • The student must be pursuing classes from 1st to 12th.
  • This scholarship will also be provided to students who are pursuing colleges and diplomas in engineering, medical and arts.
  • A scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000/- on a yearly basis will be given to the students for undertaking a B.tech degree.
  • Each girl applicant will be given a scholarship amount of Rs. 5,000/- for undertaking classes from 1st to 10th.
  • The scholarship amount provided to the students will cover the major allowances.
  • Both girls and boys will be given the scholarship amounts.
  • The students will need to apply for the Merit Scholarship to get timely registration.

SOF Girl Child ScholarshipThe student must be a girl scholar who has secured 60% marks in the classes from 1st to 10th having an annual income of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Schindler Igniting Minds ScholarshipThe student must be undertaking a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Electronics & Telecommunication and must have secured 65% marks in classes 10th and 12th.
UGC Merit ScholarshipStudents securing 1st and 2nd ranks in the UG degree will be considered eligible.
Fair and Lovely ScholarshipThe female student must be pursuing classes from 10th to 12th while securing 60% marks falling under the age group from 15 to 30 years and have an annual income of Rs. 6,00,000/-
Hindustan Times ScholarshipThis Scholarship will be given to the students belonging to the domicile of Mumbai, Navi, Thane Regions of Maharashtra, Pune, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali pursuing classes from 5th to 9th.
Aditya Birla  World Academy ScholarshipThe applicant must be a student of class 11th from the Aditya Birla World Academy.
WISDOM ScholarshipStudents of classes from 3rd to 8th.
Marubeni ScholarshipThe student must belong to citizenship of Punjab or Chandigarh and have 75% marks in the class 12th board exam and he or she must be getting admission to the UG or PG degree.
Merck ScholarshipThe student must have secured 80% marks in class 10th while having an annual income of Rs. 20,000/-.
Dr. Reddy’s Foundation Sashakt ScholarshipThe student must have passed class 12th with 85% marks and now he must be getting admission to the best science college situated in India.
