Objectives Of Ration Card List PB 2023
PB Ration Card List has been launched with the main objective of providing help & support to the financially and poor family groups so that the citizens will be able to get foodgrains purchased from the Fair Price Shops that have been allotted by the government in each district of the Punjab state.
Ration Card List Punjab has been launched with the other main objective is to provide subsidized rates among the citizens with poor family grounds. They can avail of this subsidy facility only after applying for the ration card. Food grains such as wheat, rice and sugar, and other food items will be provided to them at concessional rates.
Categories Of Ration Card
There are 3 categories of the ration card under which the applicant is classified. These are: –
- APL Ration Card: – Above Poverty Line Ration Card is provided to those applicants who fall above the poverty line and have family income from all sources equal to Rs. 10,000. 25 KGs of foodgrains will be provided to them at the subsidized rate.
- BPL Ration Card: – Below Poverty Line Ration Card can be applied by those applicants who fall under the Below Poverty Line and possess an annual income salary from all sources equal to Rs. 1 lakh. They can purchase 15 KGs of foodgrains at subsidized rates.
- AAY Ration Card: – Antodaya Aay Ration Card will be provided to those applicants who don’t have any employment or job facility in order to sustain their livelihood. To them, the government will provide subsidy rates of prices for purchasing 35 KGs of foodgrains.
