Raja Ramanna Fellowship
All those retired scientists, engineers and technologists falling under the age group of 70 years can apply online under Raja Ramanna Fellowship in order to carry out research in the field of their choice. The fellow must be an expert in solving nuclear issues. The selected fellows will be granted the fellowship amounts for the duration of 3 years.
Fellowship amount on the monthly basis and the research grant on the yearly basis will be provided or granted to the retired scientists, engineers and technologists who have received a letter to carry out the Raja Ramanna Fellowship. The age of the fellow must not exceed 70 years. The names of eligible fellows will get announced in the month of April and October of the year.

Objectives Of Raja Ramanna Fellowship
The major objective of launching the Raja Ramanna Fellowship is to provide fellowship opportunities to retired Scientists, Engineers and Technologists so that they will be inspired for carrying out research in the fields of Atomic Energy as per their choice. The selected fellow will be given an opportunity to carry out research in the field for which he or she wants to carry out research.
Another objective of launching the Raja Ramanna Fellowship is to redress the issues of research in the fields of Nuclear Areas with the help of Scientists, Engineers and Technologists who have got retired from their service or post. The selected fellows will be awarded the fellowship amount each month and the research grant will be provided to the fellows on an annual basis in one time.

Age Limit
Fulfillment of the beneficiary category solely will assure the selection of the fellow for getting the fellowship amounts. The age limit of the fellow must be 70 years and if it exceeds the fellow will get debarred.

Raja Ramanna Fellowship Duration
The selected fellows will need to carry out this fellowship according to the tenure or duration of the fellowship program. The rate of fellowship will also be granted to the selected fellows as per the fellowship duration for which they have been selected. The duration of this fellowship will be 3 years for which the fellows will be granted grants.
Submission Of Annual Progress Report
It is mandatory for all the fellows to know or to follow that they will need to submit an annual progress report at the end of each year. If they are needed for the renewal of next year grant, then they will also need to submit a Statement of Expenditure with this report.
