Students in 9th and 10th grades who join the Vidyasagar Science Olympiad can win scholarships. The top 100 students will receive prizes. Objectives Of Vidyasagar Science Olympiad 

The major objective of launching the Vidyasagar Science Olympiad is to secure the interests of students who have a lot of interest in science subjects such as Physical Science, Life Science, and Mathematical Science by organizing an olympiad or scholarship test by which the students will be able to carry out exciting cash prizes after securing good marks or ranks.

Another objective of launching the Vidyasagar Science Olympiad is to provide a competitive platform where students with different skills, aptitudes, and knowledge will also be able to create a zeal for demonstrating excellence in their academic records. The applicants or beneficiaries will need to attain the beneficiary category for which this olympiad has been released or organized. This olympiad will be considered eligible for the students of the school who are the natives of West Bengal enrolling in the schools located in WB state.

Marks Allotment

The marks allotted for each section are as follows:-

Beneficiary Limitation

Only that number of students will be awarded the scholarship or winning amounts that have been fixed in the form of beneficiary limitation. A target of covering or providing scholarship amounts to the top 100 students has been set up. After selection, these students will be awarded the winning amount.

Vidyasagar Science Olympiad Scholarship Amount

After shortlisting the names of scholarship winners, the winners will be able to get the scholarship amounts. The rate of scholarship has already been fixed by the selection body for the stipulated duration or time. Each selected awardee will be granted a scholarship amount of Rs. 2,000/- which will be given to them every month.

Vidyasagar Science Olympiad Scholarship Duration

The students will be able to get or receive the scholarship amount only for that amount of time that has been fixed by the selection for which the students will be granted scholarships. Every eligible beneficiary or student will be able to get the scholarship amounts for 2 years consisting of 24 months.

Rate Of Book Grant

The winners of this olympiad will not be only limited to getting scholarship amounts but will also be given book grants by which they will be able to purchase books according to their academic syllabus. The rate of the book grant will be Rs. 2500/- which will be given to the students on an annual basis for 2 years.
