Objectives Of Widow Pension Scheme
The major objective of launching the Widow Pension Scheme is to provide financial stability to the women’s communities by which they will be able to carry out pensions awarded to them on a monthly basis each month. This will try to redress their financial issues. Women will be able to become independent.
Another objective of launching the Widow Pension Scheme is to provide or award an amount of Rs. 300 – Rs. 500/- in the form of a pension on a monthly basis to the widows whose application form has been reviewed by the selection body and their application have been approved. This will be a form of benefit that will be given to them.
Beneficiary Category
It is only on the basis of beneficiary category that the form of benefit of this scheme will be awarded to the selected applicants or beneficiaries. This scheme will be applicable only to the women applicants whose husbands have died and who are also residents of UP state. Applicants who have fulfilled this beneficiary category will get benefits.
Age Limit
The applicant or eligible beneficiary will need to attain the age limit for which this scheme will be provided to them. The age limit of the applicant or widow applying online must be 18 years to 60 years. If she is above the age of 60 years then she will not be given registration.
Annual Income Limit
The annual income limit of the applicant’s family must also be taken into consideration at the time of carrying out the selection procedure for the preparation of the beneficiary list. The annual income limit of the widow must be Rs. 2,00,000/-. If it exceeds, the applicants will not be given pensions.
Monthly Pension Amount
After getting an online registration offered under this scheme, selected widows will be given the form of benefit in the form of a pension amount that will be provided to them each month. A monthly pension of Rs. 300/- – Rs. 500/- will be awarded or provided to each eligible beneficiary or widow.
