Now the students residing in the Odisha state can pursue their college-based degrees such as UG and PG degrees in the Odia language after getting the Fakir Mohan Scholarship given to them on an annual basis transfer. Objectives Of Fakir Mohan Scholarship
The primary objective of launching the Fakir Mohan Scholarship is to promote the adoption of the native language Odia among the higher secondary students residing in the Odisha state so that they will also be able to pursue their college-level degrees such as UG and PG degree in the Odia language after getting the scholarship amounts.
Another objective of launching the Fakir Mohan Scholarship is to provide scholarship incentives to students with meritorious students so that they will be encouraged to pursue their further studies in the Odia language. Marks will be the selection criteria for the selection of an eligible beneficiary. Students having 90% marks in class 12th will be given scholarships for clearing the UG course.

Beneficiary Category
The student or applicant must belong to that beneficiary category that has been set up or fixed by the selection body because the government has set up some restrictions on the disbursement of scholarship amounts.
