Goa Scholarship 2023

Now, the students will be able to carry out pre- and post-matric classes with the help and support provided under the Goa Scholarship. Students will also be offered opportunities for pursuing abroad studies. A list of 7 scholarships have been covered. Some scholarships will be given to the student on an annual basis, or some will be offered to the students on the monthly basis.

Financial help and support will be provided to the students residing in Goa state for undertaking classes from 9^th to 12^th and college degrees such as Ug, PG and PhD degree with the help of scholarship amount offered under the Goa Scholarship. The students will need to apply online for this scholarship before the last date.

Objectives Of Goa Scholarship Scheme

The major objective of launching the Goa Scholarship is to provide scholarships to students belonging to the underprivileged sections or communities so that they will be able to get paid out their college and schooling fees after getting the scholarship amounts offered to them in the form of financial help and support.

Another objective of launching the Goa Scholarship is to provide variable scholarship amounts on the basis of the course or degree undertaken by the student residing in the Goa state. Some of the scholarships provided to the student will be based on an annual transferral basis or some of them will be on the monthly basis.

Selection Procedure

The students or scholars who want to get the scholarship amounts provided to their bank account numbers will need to qualify for the selection procedure stages marked by the selection body. The students will need to make their academic records or excellence better. Shortlisted students will be called for the interview round for the final selection.

E-Payment System

For the facilitation of the disbursement of the scholarship amount, the Government will ensure the mode or medium through which the amount of the scholarship may be transferred. A Computerized Management System of scholarships will be designed which will include an “e-payment” system through which the scholarships will be transferred to the bank account so the eligible beneficiaries.

Scholarship Renewal

For getting a scholarship amount after getting each class passed, the student will need to ensure his/her satisfactory progress as the scholarship-concerned officials prescribed. The student will not be able to get the scholarship amount at that time if he/she does not have 75% of the minimum school attendance.

Students Turning Into Self-Sufficient & Empowered

There are many scholarship schemes under which the student can enroll as per their choice of requirement or convenience. After getting the amount of scholarship, students will be empowered to maintain and continue their studies. They will be able to become self-sufficient to stand on their own feet without becoming dependent on others.

Benefits Of Goa Scholarship Scheme

The benefits of this scholarship are as follows: –

Goa Scholarship will provide financial assistance to the students for carrying out school and college-based studies.
A list of 7 subsidiary scholarship initiatives will be offered to the students.
Students pursuing colleges or schools will be given the scholarship amounts.
Students undertaking classes from the 11^th and 12^th will be able to get a scholarship amount of Rs. 1250/- after getting active participation in the NTSE exam.
This will secure the interests of the students residing in Goa state.

Financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 28,000/- will be given to the students for pursuing or undertaking professional courses.

Features Of Goa Scholarship

The features of this scholarship are as follows: –

The State Government of Goa has launched the Goa Scholarship.
This scholarship will only be provided to the students residing in the Goa state.
There are around 7 scholarships launched in the form of subsidiary scholarship initiatives.
Scholarship amount of EUR 12,500/- will be provided to the students for undertaking foreign or abroad studies.
Students undertaking classes from 11^th to UG degree will be given scholarship amount ranging Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 60,000/- on an annual basis.
Minority students will be given an amount of Rs. 500/- each month for undertaking classes 9^th and 10^th.
The student must possess the age limit of 18 to 35 years.
The scholarship amount provided to the students will cover the major allowances.
Some of the scholarships are based on an annual basis and some of them are based on a monthly transfer basis.
The scholars will be urged to apply online under the Goa Scholarship before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria

For applying under this scholarship, the applicant must possess the following criteria mentioned below:-

DCT Scholarship Scheme	The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Goa possessing an annual income of Rs. 6 lakhs pursuing a UG/PG level of education from a recognized university/college.
Goa Education Trust Scholarship	The age of applicant must be above 30 years of age having a passport document.
Vidhyadhan Scholarship	The student must have passed his/her 10^th class with a 95% of percentage and attain a 75% of attendance record having 6 lakhs of annual family income.
National Talent Search Exam (NTSE)	Student must have passed his/her 12^th class from the open learning courses while holding the age limit of 18 years of age.
Kishore Vaiganik Protsahan Scheme	The student must have passed his/her 10^th class with 75% of marks and she/he must be studying in the 11^th class. Now the student must be undertaking bachelor’s or master’s degree in the science field.
Post-Matric Scholarship (Minorities)	He/she must pass his previous examination with a 50% of percentage having 2 lakhs of annual family income and must be enrolling to post matric class.
Pre-Matric Scholarship (Minorities)	Students must be studying in between the classes 9th and 10^th possessing 50% of minimum marks in his/her previous class examination. He/she must attain 1 lakh of annual family income.
