Objectives Of Goa Scholarship Scheme
The major objective of launching the Goa Scholarship is to provide scholarships to students belonging to the underprivileged sections or communities so that they will be able to get paid out their college and schooling fees after getting the scholarship amounts offered to them in the form of financial help and support.
Another objective of launching the Goa Scholarship is to provide variable scholarship amounts on the basis of the course or degree undertaken by the student residing in the Goa state. Some of the scholarships provided to the student will be based on an annual transferral basis or some of them will be on the monthly basis.

Selection Procedure
The students or scholars who want to get the scholarship amounts provided to their bank account numbers will need to qualify for the selection procedure stages marked by the selection body. The students will need to make their academic records or excellence better. Shortlisted students will be called for the interview round for the final selection.
E-Payment System
For the facilitation of the disbursement of the scholarship amount, the Government will ensure the mode or medium through which the amount of the scholarship may be transferred. A Computerized Management System of scholarships will be designed which will include an “e-payment” system through which the scholarships will be transferred to the bank account so the eligible beneficiaries.
Scholarship Renewal
For getting a scholarship amount after getting each class passed, the student will need to ensure his/her satisfactory progress as the scholarship-concerned officials prescribed. The student will not be able to get the scholarship amount at that time if he/she does not have 75% of the minimum school attendance.
