Objectives Of Manipur Scholarship Scheme
The primary objective of launching the Manipur Scholarship is to provide a platform or single integrative system by which the students will be able to get financial assistance provided by the government in the form of scholarships. The main focus will be there to provide social and economical welfare to the students belonging to the economically backward classes.
Another objective of launching the Manipur Scholarship Scheme is to increase literacy rates and decrease the dropout rates among students who have dreams of continuing and maintaining a high level of education. 75% Of The Minimum Attendance Is Must

Mode Of Transmission Of Scholarship Amount
To reduce the chances of corruption taking place while transferring the amount of scholarship the government has directed all the content officials to transfer the amount of scholarship with the adoption of the DBT model. This scholarship amount will not be in the cash format rather they will get directly transferred to their relevant bank account numbers.

The features of this scholarship are as follows:-
- The Government of Manipur has launched the Manipur Scholarship.
- This scholarship will be provided to the residents residing in the Manipur state.
- This scholarship will be applicable to students holding the categories such as:- SC, ST, OBC and EBC.
- There are around 8 kinds of scholarships launched or covered in the form of subsidiary scholarship initiatives.
- The annual income of the student’s family must be between Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 2,50,000/-.
- The students of NER states will be given an amount of Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- for undertaking Diploma and UG degree to PhD degree on an annual basis.
