The Sports Control Board has launched the AAI Sports Scholarship for providing scholarships to students falling under the age group of 14 years. Meritorious students will be able to develop their physical and mental growth after participating in sports. The scholarship will be applicable to the last age group of 25 years.

AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme 2023
All those candidates who want to indulge or carry out their careers in the sports games such as Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Chess, Carrom, Football, and other can approach for the AAI Sports Scholarship. The student must belong to the age group ascertained by the selection body which is 14 to 25 years because the scholarship amounts will be provided to the students on the basis of age and sports games carried out by the student.
Sports Students who want to get some financial help & support provided by the government to them can apply online under the AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme. Each eligible will be offered a medical allowance of Rs. 1000/-. One can apply online for this scholarship before 21st February 2022. Objectives of AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme
AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme has been launched with the main or primary objective of providing the scholarship amount ranging from Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 16,000/- so that the sports students will be able to get some financial help and support for pursuing studies while keeping active participation in the sports. An amount of Rs. 1000/- will be provided to the students in the form of a medical allowance.
Another objective of launching the AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme is to bring out the talents among young and talented sports persons or students so that they will be able to get the scholarship award. After the scholarship award has been permitted to them, the students will also be offered employment opportunities.
AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme Last Date
The last date for online form submission for the year 2022 was 21st February 2022 for receiving the application forms for the candidates enrolling in the year 2022. Now the new year 2023 has arrived, the last date to apply online for this scholarship this year has not been updated yet. Whenever it will get updated, we will update you.

Age Group/Limit
The student must be belonging to the age limit or group which has been fixed or set up by the selection body or government. The student must be carrying out sports activities and he or she must be belonging to the age group of 14 to 24 years. If the student falls below the age of 14 and above the age of 24 years then he or she will be disqualified.

The scholarship amounts provided to each age group are as follows:-

AAI Sports Scholarship Duration
The students will be able to receive the scholarship amount for that duration or amount of time or period that has been set up or fixed by the selection body for the disbursement of scholarship amounts. Students undertaking any kind of sports activity with the help of this scholarship will be able to get the scholarship amount for the duration of 1 year.
Rate of Medical Allowance
The medical allowance provided to the student has also been fixed or set up by the government or the selection body delegated with the task of carrying it out. The contracted sportsperson will be given a medical allowance. A Medical Allowance of Rs. 1,000/- will be provided to each eligible beneficiary. This medical allowance can be used by the student at the time of a medical emergency.
AAI Sports Scholarship Selection Procedure
The students will be selected by the selection committee or body organized and duly headed by the President of the Airport Authority of India. Documents submitted by them will also be scrutinized by this committee. Students fulfilling the selection parameters will be given the scholarship amounts and will also be considered eligible.
