CCB Scholarship 2024

The students will no longer have to deal with or endure financial instability to be admitted to programs in medicine, technology, pharmacy, the arts, or commerce because the Combined Counselling Board Scholarship will reimburse 80% of their tuition fees, depending on the course of study they choose. The pupil needs to have received the necessary or good grades in their 12th grade.

The CCB Scholarship provides social security benefits to students from SC, ST, OBC, Gen, and Minority communities after passing class 12. It allows them to pursue bachelor’s or master’s degrees at UGC-approved universities. Objectives Of Combined Counselling Board Scholarship 

The main objective of launching the CCB Scholarship is to provide some educational and employment opportunities to the students who have completed their class 12th and now they are preparing for further studies such as UG, PG, and others. Students will be given admission to various courses such as Medical, Engineering, Science, arts, commerce, vocational, and pharmacy on the basis of fee reimbursement.

Another objective of launching the CCB Scholarship Scheme is to prepare the students of class 12th passed for further studies so that they will be empowered to pursue higher education or studies without thinking about their financial instabilities or difficulties. Students securing good marks in their last year’s exam will be given priority for applying.

CCB Scholarship Amount 

The scholarship amount will be based on the course or degree that the applicant is pursuing after the completion of his/her post-secondary classes such as classes 11th and 12th. 80% of the fee will be reimbursed by the government. Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 2,50,000 will be provided to the applicant.

CCB Scholarship Selection Procedure 

The students will need first to apply on the portal, then the selection body will start scrutinizing the documents submitted by them. After that allotment letter will be provided to the student based on the college preference that he/she has indicated on the form. At the time of taking admission, the student will need to take important documents such as course details and an allotment letter with himself or herself. 

Minimum Marks To Be Scored

The students will also need to secure the minimum marks cut off in the last year’s exam for getting selected so that they will be able to get the scholarship amounts. The students will need to secure at least 40% to 50% marks in the last year’s exam. This will serve as selection criteria for the selection of an eligible beneficiary.

CCB Scholarship Last Date

As the last date to apply online for this scholarship has been launched, now the students can apply online before the last date. The last date for online form submission will be 1st June 2024 by which the students can apply online. After getting online registration on time, the students will get rid of server-hanging issues.

Provision Of Hostel Facility 

A hostel facility will be provided to the girl or boy student based on the academic performance that he or she possesses or attains. Hostel fees will have to be paid out by the students who want to get hostel facilities along with spacious rooms with attached bathrooms. Strict Hygiene conditions will be maintained.

2-Step Admission Process 

There are 2 steps in the application process as per follows:- 

Step I

After the completion of the counseling process, the selected candidates are provided with an Allotment Letter, which is mandatory for availing of the benefits of the scholarship scheme.

Step II 

Once the candidates receive the Allotment Letter, they must report to the allotted college on the given date and time with the original documents. If the candidates wish to change their college after the allotment, they may do so by taking another Allotment Letter from CCB. This will involve physical verification and approval from the college authorities. The candidates must inform CCB about their admission status after the completion of the admission process.

• The student must be an Indian.
• The applicant must be a student pursuing a college-level degree from a recognized university approved by the UGC.
• Students will need to secure 40% to 50% of the minimum marks in last year’s examination. 
• For classes 10th and 12th, attaining 33% of the minimum marks is mandatory. 
• Students who will need to secure 40% of the minimum marks who are pursuing BBA/ BCA and Engineering in Mining, Aeronautical, Petroleum, and Fire & Safety fields. 
• Students pursuing BTech Lateral Entry, BArch, or BTech in Agriculture, Biotech, and BDS will have to possess 50% of the minimum marks.
