Objectives Of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship Scheme

The main and primary objective of launching the Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship is to provide some sort of financial support or help to students who are facing financial instability due to which they are not able to access their school/college classes for studies. The amount of the scholarship will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries.

Another objective of launching the Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship is to provide variable scholarship amounts to the students carrying out schooling and college studies belonging to the reserved categories so that they will be able to reach a progressive stage of their education after getting the scholarship amounts. Hostelers will be given slightly higher scholarship amount in comparison to the scholars.

Benefits Of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship Scheme 2023-24

The benefits of this scholarship are as follows: –

  • Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship will offer a list of 8 scholarships to the students for applying online.
  • Students belonging to the underprivileged communities will be able to get the scholarships.
  • Students pursuing classes 9th and 10th will be given the variable scholarship amounts under the pre matric scholarship.
  • Hostelers will be given slightly higher scholarship amounts.
  • Both EBC and OBC students will be given financial assistance of Rs. 4,000/- Per Annum for carrying out classes 9th and 10th.
  • ST students will be given an amount of Rs. 150/- to Rs. 350/- per month for carrying out classes such as 9th and 10th.
  • Scholarship amount of Rs. 300/- to day scholars will be given for pursuing UG degree courses.
  • Academic excellence of the student will mark their entry as an eligible beneficiary for getting the scholarships.
  • The students will need to apply online for Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship  before the last date.
  • This will reduce the dropout rates.

Features Of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship 2023-24

The features of this scholarship are as follows: –

  • The State Government of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has launched the Dadra & Nagar Haveli Scholarship.
  • There are around 8 scholarships covered in the form of subsidiary scholarship initiatives.
  • The annual income of the student’s family must be equal Rs. 2,00,000/- or 2,50,000/-.
  • This scholarship will be provided to students belonging to the SC, ST, EBC and OBC categories.
  • There are around 2 student types that have been categorized by the selection body for the selection or an eligible beneficiary.
  • Scholars will be given scholarship amounts of Rs. 150/- to Rs. 225/- for undertaking pre matric classes in case of SC and ST categories.
  • Scholarship amount of Rs. 230/- to Rs. 380/- will be provided to the students enlisted under group IV.
  • ST Hostelers will be given scholarship amount of Rs. 350/- Per month for pursuing classes 9th and 10th
  • The scholarship amount provided to the students will cover the major allowances.
