Travel Date Adjustments for Scholarship Winners

You can’t shorten the trip due to eligibility rules, requiring attendance for the entire conference. If you extend your stay, the scholarship won’t cover costs (like accommodations) beyond set travel dates. Any additional expenses during extended days must be managed independently. It’s essential to plan your travel within the specified conference period.

Booking Airfare for Confirmed Scholars

Confirmed scholars will get an email guiding them on booking round-trip travel through Google’s travel agency, AmexGBT. While efforts are made to consider preferences, Google may decline arrangements outside set parameters. Any air travel not booked through AmexGBT won’t be reimbursed. All flights are round-trip economy class, inclusive of 1 carry-on bag and a personal item.

Airport Arrangements for Conference Travel

Your air travel is a round trip by default. You’ll depart from a major airport of your choice, chosen by Google or its travel agent, and return to the same airport after the conference. On arrival, you’ll land at the nearest major airport to the conference location, determined by Google or its designated travel agent.

You may lose your scholarship if you:-
