Following their online registration under the IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Program, fellows will be given or granted a weekly stipend of Rs. 2,500/-to carry out the internship program. Objectives of IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Program

The primary objective of launching the IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Program is to provide internship opportunities to excellent or meritorious UG and PG degree-pursuing students by which they will be able to carry out the same internship program with the help of offered stipend amounts. This will develop some form of working experience among the students.

Another objective of launching the IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Program is to grant a weekly stipend of Rs. 2,500/- by which the interns will be able to get some form of salary offered to them in the form of internship amounts. For measuring the intern’s performance, a certificate of participation will also be given or offered to the interns.

Beneficiary Limitation 

Only that number of beneficiaries will be able to get the internship after getting selection which has been fixed in the form of a beneficiary target. A total of 25 internships will be disbursed this year so that the eligible beneficiaries will get stipend amounts which means around 25 students will get selection.

Beneficiary Category

The interns or applicants who are going to apply online for this internship will need to attain the beneficiary category for which this internship has been launched. This internship will be given to those students who are pursuing college degrees such as UG and PG degrees in various fields.
