Institute Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has launched the Institute Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to provide a 67% fee exemption or reimbursement to the students of IIT Madras. This scholarship will be provided to both meritorious students and need basis students. Scholarship renewal is possible if the student has secured a minimum GPA of 5.0.

Institute Notional Prize

Institute Notional Prize will be provided to the students of IIT Madras who have secured ranks in the JEE examination. This prize will be provided to the students in the form of a one-time payment or grant basis. This will be available to the 7% of the students submitted to the institute.

The students belonging to the SC and ST communities will be given or offered free messing and pocket allowances offered under the Institute SC/ST Scholarship. Girish Ready Scholarship

Girish Ready Scholarship has been launched by the IIT Madras for awarding scholarship amounts on an annual or yearly basis to the students who have secured the highest JEE exam rank. A total of 3 students will be given to the students. Students’ previous year’s school performance will also be taken into consideration.

Those students who have secured ranks in the JEE exam will be given first preference to apply. The scholarship amount will be provided for 1 year.
