The students will be advised to apply online before the last date.

INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme
One-time assistance of Rs. 10,000/- will be provided to the students possessing or attaining the age limit of 10 to 15 years so that they will be able to carry out pre-matric classes. For this, they will need to apply online for the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme. Scholarship awards will be provided to the students only once a year.
Now the students will be able to carry out the expenses of their education fees after getting an online registration offered under the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme. This will provide an amount of Rs. 10,000/- using one-time assistance. The last date to apply online for this scheme will be 31st August 2023.

The major objective of launching the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme is to promote creativity and innovative thinking among school students: The scheme aims to foster innovation and creativity in students by encouraging them to generate innovative ideas and solutions for real-life problems. It is designed to inspire young minds and help them develop a scientific temperament from an early age.
Another objective of launching the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme is to nurture a culture of scientific research and innovation. The scheme focuses on creating a culture of scientific research and innovation by providing necessary resources, mentorship, and financial support to the selected ideas. It aims to nurture the scientific talent of students and help them pursue their innovative projects.
Beneficiary Category
The students will need to attain the beneficiary category on the basis of which these scholarship awards will be provided to the students who have attained the beneficiary category. The benefits of this scholarship or scheme will be provided to the students who are pursuing classes from 5th to 10th.

INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme Amount
This scheme will provide a form of benefit in the monetary form that has been fixed so that the students will be able to get or receive the amounts after getting nominated. An amount of Rs. 10,000/- will be provided to the selected or shortlisted students via one-time payment.
Support Criteria and Opportunities
Innovations will be chosen based on newness, usefulness, eco-friendliness, ease of use, and advantage over similar technologies. The best 1,000 ideas will be showcased at a national exhibition, with the top 60 receiving awards and support for development. These top 60 will also be displayed at a festival of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Important Information
Some important information issued for the students is as follows:-
- Regional workshops, audio-visual tools, and literature will be used to increase awareness and build capacity among District, State, and School officials.
- Schools will participate in internal idea competitions and submit two to three best original ideas through the E-MIAS portal.
- The top 100,000 ideas that have the potential to address societal needs through Science & Technology will be shortlisted by NIF.
- Shortlisted students will receive an INSPIRE Award of INR 10,000 through the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme.
- District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions will be organized, with 10,000 best ideas selected for the State Level Exhibition and Project Competitions.
- State Level Exhibition and Project Competitions will further shortlist the top 1,000 ideas for the National Level Exhibition and Project Competitions.
- Students selected at the national level will receive mentoring support from reputed academic and technology institutions for developing prototypes.
- Selection of ideas/innovations will be based on novelty, social applicability, environment friendliness, user-friendliness, and comparative advantage over similar existing technologies.
