Objectives Of LPU Scholarship
The major objective of launching the LPU Scholarship is to redress the issues of the students belonging to financially backward families by which they will be able to get admission to Lovely Professional University after getting the scholarship amounts. The students will be able to get the scholarships on the principle of merit-cum-need basis.
Another objective of launching the LPU Scholarship is to offer a list of 11 scholarships so that the students will be able to get the scholarship amounts in order to pursue degrees or courses from this university with the help of offered scholarship amounts. This scholarship will be applicable to the Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/Para-Military Personnel and their Dependents, PWDs, & Orphans.

Special Academic Scholarship for M.A. Punjabi & M.A. Hindi
The Lovely Professional University has launched the Special Academic Scholarship so that the students will be able to pursue or get admission to the PG or MA degree in the Punjabi and Hindi subject with the help of given scholarship amounts. Around 10 students will be selected for providing the scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be a citizen of India.
- He or she must be going to pursue or undertake MA or PG degree in the Hindi or Punjabi subject.
- The minimum mark cut-off must be 50%.
Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST
The students who have qualified or passed the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test will be granted the scholarship amounts in order to take admitted to the LPU for carrying out respective or relevant courses or degrees. There are around 5 categories on the basis of which the students will be awarded the scholarships.

Scholarship on the basis of National Entrance Level Tests
This scholarship will provide admissions to the students to the Lovely Professional University on the basis of ranks or scores attained by the students in the National Level Entrance Tests such as JEE, NEET, JAM, NATA, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GATE, CLAT, CEED, SPM, and NET (LS), etc for pursuing Engineering, law, management, architecture, PhD, UG & PG degrees in the design courses.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must have got admission to the LPU.
- The student must have qualified for the National Entrance Level Tests such as JEE, NEET, JAM, NATA, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GATE, CLAT, CEED, SPM, and NET (LS), etc.\
- The students must be enrolling in Engineering, law, management, architecture, PhD, UG & PG degrees in the design courses.
Scholarship based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship
This scholarship will be awarded to the students on a merit basis so that the students will be able to carry out degrees or courses in the fields of Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship. The students will be provided the scholarship amounts on the basis of ranks secured by them in International, National, and State level competitions.

Scholarship based on Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
The students who have great participation in sports-related activities will be granted the scholarship amounts for pursuing studies at the Lovely Professional University after taking into consideration; the Performance in Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service, and Bravery Awards. Students of Maka Trophy Games and non-maka games will be considered eligible to apply online.

Scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D.
The students who want to carry out PhD degree from this university will be given scholarships or fee benefits on the basis of ranks or scores attained by them in the LPUNEST. Students will be able to pursue PhD degrees on a full-time or part-time basis. A 50% scholarship will be preserved for the female students on full-time basis degrees.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must belong to India.
- He or she must have passed the LPUNEST.
- The student must be pursuing PhD degree from LPU.
- Students who have passed the GC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE/ GPAT/ ICAR (NET), Teacher Fellowship will also be given the registrations.
Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards
This scholarship will be provided to the students who have secured top ranks in the examination of their class 12th. Students of State, Central, and Open Boards will be considered eligible to apply online. Around 1000 students or applicants will be selected. The student must have remarked his or her name in the list of the top 20 students.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be a citizen of India.
- He or she must have secured the top 20 ranks in the exam of the 12th class from any board; State, Central, and Open Boards.
- The student must have secured 80% to 90% marks in the exam.
Financial Aid – Need Based
The scholarship amounts in the form of financial aid will be provided to the students belonging to financially backward communities such as Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Single Girl Child, Single Mother, Minorities communities, Transgender, and Non-Traditional Student. The students will be able to carry out higher studies. The annual income of the student must not exceed the specified annual income limit.

Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents
Scholarship amounts will be provided to the students who are the wards or sons or daughters of Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/Para-Military Personnel. The selected students will be granted the scholarship amounts on the basis of the categorization of beneficiaries marked. The scholarship amounts will be provided to the students in the form of a tuition fee waiver.

Financial Aid to Orphans
All those students who are orphans and whose parents are not present or died due to any reason will be granted the scholarship amounts for pursuing regular programmes & Honours programmes after the completion of the UG degree exam. A total of 20 students will be selected for providing the scholarship amounts.

The selected students will be given a full tuition fee waiver and examination fee waiver.

Now the students belonging to the PWD communities will need to suffer from the lack of monetary funds in order to pursue or carry out higher courses of study because Lovely Professional University is awarding or providing scholarships to the students belonging to the Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability.
