Objectives Of ONGC Sports Scholarship 2024
The major objective of launching the ONGC Sports Scholarship is to provide scholarships in the form of financial help and support or assistance so that the sportspersons falling under the age group of 14 to 25 years will be able to excel in their participation in the sports fields. Scholarships will be granted for the 22 sports activities.
Another objective of launching the ONGC Sports Scholarship is to provide the students of sports activities with the proper funds so that they will be able to complete or fulfil their dreams of becoming sports persons. This will also create a zeal among the other youngsters to engage in the fields of sports activities.
Beneficiary Category
This scholarship will only be provided to those applicants who are holding the beneficiary category for which this scholarship has been launched. The student must be a sportsperson engaging in the sports activity that has been listed by this scholarship for which the students will be selected for getting the scholarships.
Age Limit
It is also the age limit or group which marks the final selection of an eligible beneficiary in order to get the scholarship amounts. The students or applicants will know in advance that this scholarship will be applicable to the students or sportspersons belonging to the age limit of 14 to 25 years.
Beneficiary Limit
Scholarship amounts will be disbursed among only those number of beneficiaries that have been fixed by the selection body in the form of beneficiary limit to which the selection body will grant scholarships. A target of 250 sportspersons has been set up for awarding the scholarships covering each sports game field.
