The students must want to begin his or her career in entrepreneurship after completing his or her diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university attaining the age limit.

Prescribed Age Limit

There is also an age limit that will need to be bound by the beneficiaries at the time of registering online to the portal. The students will need to make sure that they fall under the age group of 18 to 35 years; which means the age of the student must not be below 18 years and must not be above 35 years.

Community Innovator Fellowship Amount

Apart from offering various facilities to the students or applicants, the students will also be given or offered fellowship amounts that can be used by them at the time of building their enterprise. The rate of fellowship amount will be Rs. 2 lakhs that will be provided to the students.

Community Innovator Fellowship Duration

The selected fellows will be able to get or receive the fellowship amounts for that period or duration that has been fixed by the delegated body or authority. Each eligible beneficiary will be granted the fellowship amounts for 1 year covering 12 months. The fellows will need to work under the supervision of a superior body.

Features Of Community Innovator Fellowship 2024

The features of this fellowship are as follows:-

• Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog in collaboration with UNDP India has launched the Community Innovator Fellowship.
• This fellowship will be provided to students who have just passed their diploma or UG degree in any field.
• Fellows can choose from 18 diverse areas, including agriculture, biotechnology, education, health, information technology, and more, providing flexibility in selecting their entrepreneurial focus.
• The students of 18 to 35 years will be given fellowships.
• The fellowship journey is structured into five phases, namely Orientation, Exploration, Enhancement, Springboard, and Showcase, ensuring a comprehensive and structured learning experience.
• With a duration of 1 year, the fellowship offers transferable benefits, including monthly, yearly, or one-time payments, providing flexibility in financial disbursements.

Community Innovator Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria will need to be possessed by the students for applying online:-

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• He or she must be 18 to 35 years old.
• The student must have passed the UG or Diploma in any field.
