The Savitribai Phule Pune University has launched the DK Bhave Scholarship so that the students studying at Savitribai Phule Pune University will be able to get scholarships for pursuing further studies. This scholarship will only be applicable to those students who are pursuing Technical degrees. One will need to apply by 15th June 2022.

DK Bhave Scholarship 2023

All those students who have received an admission offer from the university of USA/Germany/Canada/England for pursuing a master’s degree in technical courses can receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 5 lakhs after getting an online enrollment offered under the DK Bhave Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the major allowances.

Students who want to undertake M.Tech degrees from universities situated in the countries such as the USA, Germany, Canada and England can apply online under the DK Bhave Scholarship for getting financial assistance of Rs.5,00,000/-. The student must hold citizenship in India. One can apply online before the last date of online form submission.

Objectives Of DK Bhave Scholarship 

The main objective of launching the DK Bhave Scholarship is to grant or award the scholarship amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- to the B.Tech students of Savitribhai Phule Pune University so that they will be able to pursue an M.Tech degree after getting or receiving an acceptance letter from the accredited universities of USA/Germany/Canada/England.

Another objective of launching the DK Bhave Scholarship is to award scholarship amounts to meritorious students pursuing engineering or technical education in the UG or PG degree from the abroad universities situated outside India such as the USA, Germany, Canada and England. The scholarship amount will be provided to the student in 3 installments:-  40%, 30% and 30% ratio.

Amount Of Scholarship 

Students pursuing Technical education or Engineering courses in their UG or PG degree phase will be given financial assistance in form of scholarships. The expected amount of scholarship will be Rs. 5 lakhs till the completion of the technical course degree of the student which he/she is pursuing. This will help them to stand on their own feet.

  • Submission of significant documents is a must otherwise the student will not be given any scholarship amount.

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicant will be required to possess the mentioned below eligibility criteria for applying online under this scholarship:- 

  • The student must be a permanent citizen of India. 
  • The student must be pursuing B.Tech from any college which has been accredited under the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
  • The student must have received an admission offer or letter from the universities situated in USA/Germany/Canada/England.
  • The student or applicant must be a student of UG degree in the faculty of Engineering enrolling in the last year situated within PMC and PCMC area.
  • Scholars must have secured at least qualifying marks in the entrance examination. 
  • Students must have secured or gotten Confirmed Admission based on his/her merit performance. 
  • Scholarships will not be provided to those students who are already getting an education from a foreign country.
