Merit Scholarship

There are lots of students who want to pursue further studies but can’t be able to do so due to financial instabilities and for resolving such issues, Merit Scholarship has been launched so that students of both school level and college levels will be able to get variable scholarship amounts. There are around 34 scholarships that will be offered to the students for applying.

Students can approach for the Merit Scholarship for undertaking classes from 10th to 12th and college level studies with the help of scholarship amounts provided to them. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to those students who want to carry out their studies on the basis of their merit performance or academic excellence.

Objectives of Merit Scholarship

The primary or major objective of launching the Merit Scholarship is to provide scholarship amounts to meritorious students in the form of financial help and support so that they will be inspired to carry out a higher course of study despite belonging to the EWS communities, SC and ST communities.

Another objective of launching the Merit Scholarship is to provide a list of integrated scholarships in the major categories such as Private Funded Scholarships and Government Funded Scholarships by which the students will be able to get the scholarship amounts on the basis of the category to which they want to enrol for receiving the scholarship amounts.

Benefits of Merit Scholarship 2023-24

The benefits of this scholarship are as follows:-

  • Merit Scholarship will provide financial assistance to the students for carrying out schooling and college-based studies.
  • There are around 34 scholarships that will be provided to the students for applying.
  • Students will be able to explore educational opportunities for themselves on the basis of their merit.
  • Both SC, ST and EWS students will be given variable scholarship amounts.
  • Variable scholarship amounts will be given to the students.
  • This will secure the interests of the students residing in India Country.
  • Fee-waiving opportunities will also be provided to the students on the basis of marks obtained by them in the previous year’s exam.
  • There are around 2 scholarship categories that have been set up so that the students can get enrollment as per their choice of interest.
  • The students will need to apply online under the Merit Scholarship before the last date of online form submission.
  • Deserving students will be given 100% fee reimbursement.

Features of Merit Scholarship 2023-24

The features of this scholarship are as follows:-

  • For securing the interests of meritorious students, Merit Scholarship.
  • Students will be able to secure the scholarship amounts on the basis of their merit performance.
  • The student must belong to the SC, EWS and ST communities.
  • The student must be pursuing classes from 1st to 12th.
  • This scholarship will also be provided to students who are pursuing colleges and diplomas in engineering, medical and arts.
  • A scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000/- on a yearly basis will be given to the students for undertaking a B.tech degree.
  • Each girl applicant will be given a scholarship amount of Rs. 5,000/- for undertaking classes from 1st to 10th.
  • The scholarship amount provided to the students will cover the major allowances.
  • Both girls and boys will be given the scholarship amounts.
  • The students will need to apply for the Merit Scholarship to get timely registration.

The applicants will need to follow the mentioned eligibility criteria for getting online registration under this scholarship: –

Dhirubhai Ambani ScholarshipThe students must have passed class 12th from the Gujarat state.
Loreal India ScholarshipThe student must be a female applicant securing 85% marks in the class 12th belonging to the age group of 19 years and having an annual income of Rs. 4,00,000/-.
Abhilasha ScholarshipThe scholar must be a girl student pursuing classes from 9th to 12th while securing 75% marks in the previous year’s exam and having an annual income of Rs. 3,00,000/-.
GP Birla ScholarshipThe student must belong to the domicile of West Bengal securing 80% marks in the class 12th and now she must be getting admission to the college.
UGAM Legrand ScholarshipThe student must have secured 75% marks in the class 10th to 12th marks and now he or she must be undertaking a technical course of studies such as B.Tech
