The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched the Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Program so that the students will be able to get scholarship amounts for pursuing or getting admission to the NIT colleges for the pursuit of higher studies. Students will be able to get admission to around 20 National Institute of Technologies. This scholarship will only be awarded to students belonging to underprivileged communities.

There are various students who belong to underprivileged communities or sections who want to pursue or carry out engineering degrees but can’t be able to do so due to the high fee structure. For redressing this issue, Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Program has been launched so that the selected students will be able to carry out scholarship amounts for getting admission to the Technical Institutes.

Objectives Of Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Program

The major objective of launching the Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Program is to promote the adoption of technical studies among the students for pursuing B.Tech or technical degrees or courses after getting scholarship amounts. Scholarships will be able to be received by students belonging to underprivileged communities.

Another objective of launching the Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Program is to award a scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000/- to the students pursuing the technical courses of studies from anyone empanelled at NIT University located within India. This scholarship will only be provided to students belonging to underprivileged communities.

Beneficiary Category

This scholarship will only be awarded to that student who has attained the beneficiary category for which this scholarship has been meant and launched. The student must make sure that he or she is belonging to an underprivileged community and must be wanting to pursue or undertake technical studies at any one NIT university.

Ineligible Beneficiaries

The below-mentioned beneficiaries will be considered ineligible to apply online:-

Medhaavi Engineering Scholarship Amount

This scholarship will be awarded to only those students who have attained the beneficiary category and the course for which this scholarship has been launched or opted. The students will be granted an amount of Rs. 50,000/- in the form of a scholarship amount which will be payable to them in the mode of DBT.

Minimum Marks Cut-Off

The students will need to make sure or ensure that they have attained the minimum or average marks that have been fixed or ascertained by the selection procedure if they student is going to be get selected. The students will need to secure at least 55% marks in the class 12th examination. On the basis of marks, they will get a selection.

Parental Annual Income Limit

The students must also have to make sure that the annual income limit that their parents are earning must not exceed the annual income limit that has been ascertained by the selection body. The annual income limit of the student’s family must be equal to Rs. 8,00,000/-. If it exceeds, then the student will not be given a selection.

As the last date to apply online for this scholarship has been launched, now the students can apply online before the last date.
