Objectives Of Philips Scholarship Program

The primary objective of launching the Philips Scholarship Program is to provide financial help and support along with the facilitation of mentorship support so that the students will be able to carry out healthcare-related courses without suffering from any kind of financial issues. This will also redress some of the problems coming in the way of the students grabbing education or studies.

Another objective of launching the Philips Scholarship Program is to provide scholarship amounts to the students who are going to undertake courses such as MBBS, BDS, Nursing, B.Pharm, BAMS, BHMS, or any healthcare-related courses which demand high fee-paying structure that can’t be afforded by the students coming from EWS communities. 

Beneficiary Category 

This scholarship will be provided or awarded only to those students who have attained the beneficiary category for which this scholarship has been launched. The students will need to make sure that he or she must belong to the EWS or economically backward communities going to undertake medical or healthcare-related courses. 

Ineligible Beneficiaries 

The below-mentioned beneficiaries will be considered ineligible for applying online:- 

• Children of employees of Philips 
• Children of employees of Buddy4Study 

Eligible Courses

Minimum Marks 

The students will also need to secure the minimum cut-off marks that have been set up or fixed by the selection body for the shortlisting of eligible beneficiaries. The students will need to pass class 12th while securing at least 70% marks that will need to be attained otherwise their selection will not be final. 

Annual Income Limit 

The students will also need to attain the specified or set up annual income limit that must be earned by their family members from all sources of earnings. The annual income limit must be Rs. 6,00,000/-. If it exceeds, then the students will not be given any scholarship benefit as well as selection. 

Philips Scholarship Amount 

The students who will be given scholarship amounts after the selection procedure; the rate of scholarship has already been fixed so that the students will be able to get scholarships in time. An amount of Rs. 50,000/- will be provided or awarded to the students in the form of scholarship amounts using the mode of DBT.
