Objectives Of Prime Minister Special Scholarship
The primary objective of launching the PMSSS is to provide scholarships in the form of financial help and support to the students of J&K State for pursuing professional, general and medical courses with the help of scholarship amounts provided to them. This scholarship amounts will be provided to them on an annual basis.
Another objective of launching the Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme is to provide scholarship amount of Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 1,20,000/- to the students belonging to the SC, ST and SEBC communities for pursuing general and professional courses. A target of covering about 5000 students have been set up. 44% of reservations will be kept for reserved categories.
Beneficiary Category
This scholarship will only be provided to the students residing in the Jammu and Kashmir state or J&K State. The student must be pursuing general, professional and medical courses which have been approved by the AICTE named All India Council for Technical Education. A total of 5000 scholarships will be awarded.

Transfer Of Scholarship Amount
