Objectives Of Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Nursing Scholarship
The major objective of launching the Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Nursing Scholarship is to grant scholarship amounts in the form of financial help and support to the girl students living in leprosy-affected colonies by which they will be able to pursue or carry out nursing degrees or education. For the duration of 4 years, the girls will get scholarships.
Another objective of launching the Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Nursing Scholarship is to grant a scholarship amount of Rs. 1,000/- Per Month by which the girl students will be able to pursue B.Sc Nursing Degree. This scholarship will cover major allowances. A total grant of Rs. 4 Lakhs will be given for 4 years of study.
Beneficiary Category
The students will need to possess or attain the beneficiary category for getting an online registration for this scholarship. This scholarship will only be provided or granted to the girl students living or belonging to the leprosy-affected colonies by which they will be able to carry out BSc Nursing degrees.
Age Limit
The beneficiary category and the state in which they reside will not only be sufficient for their selection for getting the scholarship amount, but they must also need to attain the age limit or group that has been fixed or set up for the selection of an eligible beneficiary. The age of the student or scholar and beneficiary must not be less than 17 years of age.

The selected or shortlisted students will be able to get scholarship awards or rewards. Students will be given or granted the scholarship amounts on the monthly basis for the stipulated amount of time or duration. Students will be given an amount of Rs. 1,000/- on the monthly basis. This scholarship will cover the major allowances.

It is only on the basis of duration or tenure for which the students are awarded the scholarship amounts. Students shortlisted will be able to carry out the scholarship amounts according to the tenure or duration that has been fixed by the selection body. Selected students will be given scholarship amounts for the duration of 4 years consisting of 48 months.
