Another objective of launching the Tata Housing Scholarships for Meritorious Girl Students is to improve or increase the literacy rate of the Mumbai state by indulging the active participation of female students in the field of professional or technical studies.  This will secure the interests of students belonging to the categories of EWS, ST and SC.

The categories of beneficiaries fixed by the selection body are as follows:-

• ST Category 
• EWS or EBC Category

Tata Housing Scholarship Amount

This scholarship will only be provided to that girl who belongs to the category of EWS/ST/SC pursuing professional or technical education from a recognized university or institute situated in the Mumbai state.  An amount of Rs. 60,000/- will be provided to the eligible student in the form of a scholarship. 

Tata Housing Scholarships for Meritorious Girl Students Last Date

The students will be able to get the scholarship registration after applying online for this scholarship. For this, they will also need to get to know the last date by which they can get registration. The last date for online form submission has not yet been released by the selection body.  Whenever it is released, we will update you through this article till then you can wait for a moment.

Securing 50% Marks Is Must 

This doesn’t mean that if this scholarship is meant and applicable to female students, then students of any one mark percentage will be considered eligible to apply online under this scholarship. The girl student must ensure that she has secured 50% marks in the previous year’s exam otherwise she will be expelled from getting this scholarship amount offered under this scholarship. 

Annual Income Limit

The student’s annual income limit will be taken into consideration at the time of providing scholarships to female students. The girl student’s annual income limit must not exceed the value of income preferred or fixed. The annual income of the student’s family must be Rs. 3,00,000/-. If it exceeds, the student will get terminated.

There will be a promotion of higher studies among the girl students which will bring some form of investment to their educational efforts. This scholarship will empower them to start or join or get admission to professional or technical studies. This will bring a higher course of studies among the girl entities.
