The NSDL e-Governance has launched the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship so that the students belonging to the underserved and underprivileged sections of society will be able to get the scholarship amount for pursuing their further studies. For securing the interests of the students belonging to the economically weaker sections of society, Vidyasaarathi Scholarship has been launched so that the government will be able to provide some sort of help and support in nourishing their educational base. There are around 8 kinds of scholarships launched or covered in the form of subsidiary scholarship initiatives.
Now the students who want to undertake or pursue Diploma Course, ITI courses and UG and PG degrees can pursue so with the help of financial assistance offered under the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship. For this, the students will need to secure the minimum cut off marks in the last year’s examination for getting admission to the respective degree or course for which he or she want to attend to.

Objectives Of Vidyasaarathi Scholarship
The main objective of launching the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship is to provide social welfare to the students belonging to the disadvantaged sections so that they will also be able to fulfill their dreams of pursuing higher or professional education like others. This will bring promotion of skill development among such students.
Another objective of launching the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship is to provide variable scholarship amounts to the students so that they will be able to get admission to higher course of studies after getting the scholarships. The students will be offered around 8 scholarships for applying as per their requirement. Variable scholarships will be provided to the students.

Scholarship Tenure
The students will be given or offered the scholarship amounts applying for anyone subsidiary scholarship initiative for the stipulated amount of time or duration for which the students will be able to receive the scholarship amounts. There are around 8 scholarships which will be provided to the students for the duration of 1 year covering 12 months. The tenure of each scholarship is same.
Minimum Marks Cut Off
The students will need to secure the following mentioned minimum marks for getting admission to respective degree or course:-

Annual Income Limit
The annual income limit of the student’s family or parents will also be taken into consideration in the form of selection parameter for the selection of an eligible beneficiary. The students will need to make sure that their annual income limit must not exceed to Rs. 3 Lakhs otherwise, if it exceeds the students will not be able to get the scholarship amount same and will get debarred.
