The State Government of Gujarat has launched the Gujarat Scholarship with covering 34 major scholarships in the form of subsidiary scholarship initiatives which will serve as a choice to the students for carrying out scholarship amounts in any one. The students will need to go through the timelines for getting faster registration.

Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2023

Students belonging to the beneficiary categories such as NTDNT, SEBC, SC and SEBC can apply online under the Gujarat Scholarship for getting the scholarship amounts offered to them in the form of financial help and support. Variable scholarship amounts will be given to the students.  Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has been delegated with the task of carrying out the implementation procedures.

Students holding the domicile of Gujarat state can pursue their schooling or college-based studies after getting an online registration offered under the Gujarat Scholarship for receiving the scholarship amounts offered to them. The only eligibility criteria are to possess the minimum marks cut off, annual income limit and the class or degree for which the scholarship has been meant.

Objectives Of Digital Gujarat Scholarship

The primary objective of launching the Gujarat Scholarship Scheme is to provide a platform by which meritorious students belonging to financially weak families such as Other Backward Classes and Backward Classes will be able to get explore some educational opportunities at the single interface provided by the Government.

Another objective of launching the Gujarat Scholarship is to provide various choices to the students of Gujarat state for applying online for anyone scholarship plan in return for getting the scholarship amounts so that they will be able to get an assurance that their efforts are going better. The students will be urged to apply online before the last date.

Annual Income Limit

The annual income attained or possessed by the student’s family from all sources of income will also be taken into consideration at the time of making the selection of an eligible beneficiary for the disbursement of scholarship amounts. The annual income limit of the student’s family must be between from Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 6,00,000/-.

Important Instructions

Some important instructions issued by the government are as follows: –

  • Before filling registration form online, the student or applicant will need to read all the instructions carefully mentioned on it.
  • Attaching relevant and important documents with the registration form is a must.
  • One has to upload the document of the defined or prescribed size. The size of the document must not exceed the prescribed size.
  • Only one application will be received from one student. He/she will be expelled from applying for more than one scholarship form.
  • Department will reject the application received by the student in case the information filled on it is incorrect and wrong.
  • Ensuring the clarity of the document has to be maintained by the student while scanning the document.

Digital Gujarat Portal

For providing a facility for the students or applicants filling out the scholarship registration form, the Government of Gujarat has provided a Digital Gujarat Portal which will provide you with a single platform for getting assistance from various citizens and scholarship services provided by them. One accesses various online services on this portal while sitting at home. This portal has been developed to provide social welfare benefits to underprivileged sections of society.

The features of this scholarship are as follows: –

  • The State Government of Gujarat has launched the Gujarat Scholarship.

  • Some of the variable scholarship amounts will also be given to the students on the basis of the scholarship plan undertaken by them.
  • The scholarship amount provided to the students will cover the major allowances.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants will have to fullfill the mentioned below eligibility criteria for applying online under this scholarship:-

Post SSC Scholarship (Girls) NDNDTFor getting registration under this scholarship scheme, the applicant must be a girl from the NDNDT. The student must be undertaking classes from 11th to PhD degree.
Post SSC Scholarship (Boys) NDNDTScholarships will only be provided to the boys’ community having an annual family income equal to Rs. 1.50 lakhs. The student must be undertaking classes from 11th to PhD degree.
