Objectives Of ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship
The major objective of launching the ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship is to provide fellowship support or allowance to the researchers or fellows so that they will get inspired or motivated for pursuing research in the fields of Bio-Medical Sciences such as communicable and noncommunicable diseases, basic medical sciences, reproductive health including nutrition, human resource developments, etc. The duration of this fellowship will be 2 years.
Another objective of launching the ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship is to provide a fellowship amount or allowance of Rs. 65,000/- to the researchers or fellows who are carrying out research in the fields of Bio-Medical Sciences. The age limit and the beneficiary category will be taken into consideration at the time of carrying out the selection procedure. Age relaxation of 5 years will also be provided to applicants belonging to underprivileged communities.
