Stipend amount or award of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be awarded to the students who have been selected for the IITB Research Internship Awards. They will need to work as an intern for the duration of 4 to 6 months. Fellows will be able to conduct research projects in thrust areas of science and engineering. The students will need to apply online before the last date.
Now the students will be able to carry out research in areas of science and engineering after getting an online registration offered under the IITB Research Internship Awards. Fresh registration for this fellowship will start on 1st August 2023 and the interns will get selected till 5th January 2024. Stipends will be given on a monthly basis.

Objectives Of IITB Research Internship Awards
The major objective of launching the IITB Research Internship Awards is to provide research internships to students wanting to undertake internships or research in the offered fields or areas of science and engineering. Selected students will be nominated as an intern and they will be able to carry out work for the duration of 4 to 6 months.
Another objective of launching the IITB Research Internship Awards is to award an amount of Rs. 15,000/- to the selected fellows in the form of stipends so that they will be able to receive the incentives for the research work they have done while carrying out the roles & responsibilities being an intern.

The duration of this internship will be taken into consideration whenever the selection body starts selecting the interns because they will also be held responsible for working as an intern for the stipulated amount of time or duration.
