Objectives Of PhD Scholarships 2023 

The major objective of launching the PhD Scholarships is to provide scholarship opportunities to both Indian and International students so that they will be able to carry out PhD degrees after getting some sort of scholarship amount. The students will be able to get exposure to foreign universities. There are some fellowships out of the list.

Another objective of launching the PhD Scholarships is to provide a list of 24 subsidiary scholarships to the students so that their education will not get hindered in between while carrying out PhD degrees. The applicants will need to follow the mentioned below eligibility criteria for getting online registration under this scholarship: –

Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF)The student must belong to citizenship in India and carry out the final year of 4-5 years of undergraduate for 5 years integrated M.tech or 2 years MSc or five years of undergraduate or postgraduate dual degree program in Science and technology stream from IISC/IIT/NITs/IISERS/IIEST securing 8.0 CPI or CGPA out of 10.0. The student must have qualified for the GATE exam.
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund ScholarshipThe student must hold Indian or Asian citizenship and carry out PhD degree holding the age limit of 35 years of age and the student must have secured at least 60% marks in the UG and PG degrees.
Physical Research Laboratory Junior Research FellowshipThis fellowship will be applicable to the fellows carrying out PhD degrees in the fields of Physics, Engineering Physics, Space Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Geology, Geophysics, and Remote Sensing and they must have secured at least 60% marks in the UG and PG degree in the science or engineering field. The student must have secured ranks out of 1st to 500th in the CSIR-UGC-NET/UGC-NET/GATE/JEST tests.
Google PhD Fellowship India ProgramThe scholar must be an Indian carrying out PhD degree in the field or areas of computer science while holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university.
ICHR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)Indian students must be JRF carrying out Ph.D. degrees in the History subject or field from the ICHR.
ICSSR Doctoral Research FellowshipThe student must be an Indian citizen carrying out PhD degrees in the offered fields of research areas from the UGC-recognized universities / deemed universities, institutes of national importance, ICSSR research institutes and colleges holding the age limit of 45 to 70 years.
Maulana Azad National FellowshipThe student must belong to the Minority community carrying out or undertaking PhD degrees from recognized universities and their annual income limit must be Rs. 6,00,000/-.
NCERT Doctoral Fellowship for PhDThe student must be carrying out PhD degrees from the NCERT affiliated college or university belonging to the age group of 35 years and must have secured at least 60% marks in the last year’s examination.
Junior Research FellowshipThe student must have cleared or qualified for the test or exam of University Grants Commission NET JRF and now must be enrolling in the PhD degrees.
CSIR-UGC JRF NET FellowshipThe student must have qualified for the exam named UGC JRF NET enrolling to the PhD degree and must have secured at least 55% marks in the PG degree exam.

Swami Vivekananda Single Child Scholarship for Research in Social ScienceThe applicant must be a single girl child pursuing PhD degree in the field of social science from a college or institute approved by the UGC body belonging to the age limit of 40 to 45 years.
