A target of covering around 300 students from the empanelled institutes has been set up. Selected students will be given guidance to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.

Another objective of launching the UGC NEP Saarthi Scheme is to bring active participation of the students from appropriate institutions so that they will be able to understand the initiatives of NEP 2023 and will also be able to spread its premises. The delegated officials or superiors will be the vice-chancellor, directors, and principals of the higher education institute.

Beneficiary Target

It is only on the basis of beneficiary target or limitation that the UGC will start shortlisting the names of eligible beneficiaries for this scheme. It has been measured or evaluated that around 300 students from the corresponding institutes will be given selection who will be given the right type of mentorship as well as training support.
