Annual Income Limit

The course of study or degree undertaken and the beneficiary category to which the student belongs will not only sufficient for the student to get the scholarship amount. The student will also possess the annual income limit which has been fixed by the selection body. The annual income limit of the eligible beneficiary must be equal to Rs. 2,50,000/-.

Important Information

Some of the important information issued by the government is as follows:-

• The scholarship amount will be provided to the student only for 1 year. 
• For the continuation of the scholarship award, the student will need to secure good academic records in his/her school records. 
• Students receiving scholarship amounts by dishonest means will be debarred from getting this scholarship amount. 
• Students will need to fill out genuine information on the form. 
• Beneficiary application request will get rejected in case he/she has entered the wrong aadhar number. 
• The applicant will be liable to be rejected in case the government has found that the applicant has applied for more than 1 application at one time. 
• Money will not get directly transferred to the bank account of the applicant in case he/she has provided mismatched bank account details while submitting a form on the portal.

The benefits of this scholarship are as follows:- 

• Umbrella Scholarship Arunachal Pradesh will provide financial stability to the students belonging to the ST communities.
• The students will be able to pursue classes from 9^th to 12^th.
• Both hostellers and scholars will be given scholarships.
• Financial assistance of Rs. 150/- will be given to the scholars pursuing pre-matric classes.
• Hostellers will be given a scholarship amount of Rs. 350/- for undertaking classes 9^th and 10^th.
