Another objective of launching the MJPRU Scholarship is to provide a list of various scholarships by which students coming from diverse backgrounds and communities will be able to carry out their studies. There are 2 categories based on which scholarships will be categorized. 1st category will be National Scholarship and 2nd category will be UP Scholarship.

Merit Cum Scholarship for Professional Courses

The Ministry of Minority Affairs has launched the Merit Cum Scholarship for Professional Courses so that students belonging to minority communities will be able to carry out scholarships for undertaking professional courses or degrees. Students will be given selection based on some selection parameters such as annual income limit, educational qualification, etc. 

Scholarship Amount 

A scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000/- will be provided to the students.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The student must be an Indian.
• He or she must belong to the minority community.
• The student must be pursuing professional courses.
• The minimum cut-off marks in the previous class must be 50%.
• The annual income limit must be Rs. 1 lakh. 

Central Sector Scheme for Scholarship 

This scholarship will be provided or awarded to the students who are pursuing graduation, post-graduation, Ph.D., and M.Phil from recognized universities or colleges. This scholarship will be provided to the students belonging to the SC, ST, OBC & PWD communities. 50% of seats will be reserved for both girl and boy candidates.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The student must be an Indian.
• This scholarship scheme will only apply to students pursuing college-level degrees. 
• Students studying in classes from 1st to 10th will not be considered eligible for scholarship enrollment
• The applicants will need to secure 75% of the minimum attendance in their attendance record for the continuation of the scholarship amount. 
• The annual income of the student’s family must be equal to Rs. 8,00,000/-.
• The students will also need to get 50% of the minimum marks in their previous year’s examination in case their scholarship amount has expired and they want to get the renewal. 
• Those students who are pursuing professional or technical-level courses from recognized universities will also be invited to get active enrollment under this scholarship.

Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses (SC/ST) 

This scholarship will be provided to the students of SC and ST communities so that they will be empowered to carry out professional courses in the UG degrees. Students will be given scholarship amounts on an annual basis so that they will be able to complete their studies till their completion tenure. 

Scholarship Amount 

A scholarship amount of Rs. 7800/- Per Month will be provided to the students.

• The student must be an Indian citizen.
• He or she must be an SC or ST candidate. 
• The student must be pursuing a UG degree in a professional course. 
• The annual income limit must be Rs. 2.50 Lakhs. 

Postgraduate Merit Scholarship for Ranked Students 

This scholarship has been launched with the active participation of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India so that the students who are going to apply for the PG degree in the offered fields will be able to submit the education or study fees after getting the scholarship amounts. The students will also need to attain the age limit. 

Scholarship Amount 

A scholarship amount of Rs. 3100/- Per Month will be provided to the students.

Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child 

This scholarship will only be provided or awarded to a single girl child who is going PG degree from a college or university that has been approved by the UGC. The students will be able to get the scholarship amount for 2 years. Girl students 30 years old will be considered eligible to apply.

Scholarship Amount 

A scholarship amount of Rs. 36,200/- Per Year will be provided to the students.

This scholarship will be provided or awarded to the students living in the UP state and are pursuing or undertaking Post-matric classes. This scholarship will be provided to the students on an annual basis and the marks gained by them in last year’s exam. Students pursuing graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D., or higher level will also be given scholarships.

UP Post-Matric (Other State Scholarship) 

This scholarship will be provided to the students belonging to the General, ST, and SC communities living in the UP state. This scholarship will be provided to the students for undertaking class 11th to a higher level of studies. Students will be able to get variable scholarships based on the course or degree attained by them.

The State Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched the UP Post-Matric (Other Than Intermediate) Scholarship for Minorities so that the students belonging to the minority communities will be able to carry out post-matric classes after getting the scholarship amounts that will be provided to them. Students will be able to undertake graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D., or higher-level education.
