The students belonging to the minority communities will be able to pursue 11^th or 12^th classes, UG, and PG degrees in various fields, and vocational and technical courses after getting the scholarship amounts offered under the Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities. The student’s previous academic records and financial background in terms of annual income limit will be taken into consideration at the time of making a selection.

Scholarship Amount

The students will be offered the scholarships on the basis of class, degree, and courses as per follows:-

The Dempo Charities Trust has launched the DCT Scholarship so that the students who are pursuing PG degrees from the recognized colleges of Goa will be able to get or receive the scholarship amounts. Vidyadhan Scholarship Program

The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation has launched the Vidyadhan Scholarship Program so that the students will be able to pursue classes 11th and 12^th & UG Degrees from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa. The selected students will be granted scholarships on an annual basis. The minimum marks need to be secured by the student in the last year’s exam.

Scholarship Amount

The selected students will be given or offered a scholarship amount of Rs. 5,000/- on an annual basis.  Students pursuing UG degrees will be given scholarship amounts of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- per year.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India. 
• The student must belong to any one of the states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa. 
• The student must be pursuing classes 11th and 12th. 
• Students having no disability marks will need to secure at least 90% marks in the class 10^th exam.
• Students with disability marks will need to secure 75% marks in the class 10^th exam.

Goa Education Trust Scholarship

The British Council has launched the Goa Education Trust Scholarship so that students with good academic records or excellence will be able to get scholarships for pursuing or undertaking MA or PG degrees from recognized colleges or universities in the UK. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)

The DST (Department of Science & Technology) has launched the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) so that the students who are carrying out degrees such as BSc, B.Tech, and MBBS degrees in the first year of their studies will be able to receive the fellowship amount. The students will also need to pay out the registration fee as per their caste or category to which they belong.

Fellowship Amount

The students will be given fellowship and contingency allowance as per follows:-

• Fellowship Amount = Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 7,00/0/- Per Month.
