The State Government of Gujarat has launched the MYSY Scholarship so that students will be able to pursue or carry out higher studies such as diplomas, engineering, pharmacy, medical, and other courses with the help of scholarship amounts given to them. MYSY Scholarship

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana Scholarship was established to encourage economically disadvantaged students to pursue higher education. Through this program, these students will be able to receive scholarship funds to pursue diplomas, engineering, pharmacy, medical, and other courses from accredited schools or universities. Annual awards of variable scholarships will be given out.

A scholarship program known as the Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, or MYSY Scholarship, is available to Gujarati students who belong to the economically disadvantaged group. Every year, students who want to pursue further education in fields such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy, or diploma programs apply for the MYSY scholarship. Each year, the government invests Rs. 1000 crore in this scholarship program.

Objectives Of MYSY Scholarship

The major objective of launching the MYSY Scholarship is to provide variable scholarship amounts to students belonging to financially backward communities who are not well enough to afford the course fees which they want to pursue. Another objective of launching the MYSY Scholarship is to make educational fees affordable among the students of backward communities so that they will be inspired or motivated to carry out or undertake Diploma, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Medical courses. Each eligible student will be granted scholarships on an annual basis.

Beneficiary Category

This scholarship will be granted to those students who have fulfilled the parameters of the beneficiary category for which this scholarship has been made or launched. The student must be a native or resident of Gujarat state and he or she must belong to the financially backward or socially backwards communities carrying out various courses.

This scholarship may cover the below-mentioned allowances:-

MYSY Scholarship Amount

The rates of scholarship are as follows:-

The second or other allowance that will be covered in the scholarship amount or that will be payable to the student who has been considered eligible will be an accommodation grant or living costs or hostel fees. This will act as an HRA allowance. The rate of HRA will be Rs. 1200/- Per Month.

Minimum Marks Cut-Off

The students will need to secure the following-mentioned minimum marks for getting admission:-

Annual Income Limit

The annual income limit of the family or parent must not exceed what has been determined or prescribed by the selection body that must be attained by the student. The student must possess or attain an annual income limit of Rs. 6,00,000/-. If it exceeds, the student will get disqualified.

MYSY Scholarship Renewal

The students can apply for the application form for scholarship renewal in case the scholarship duration has been completed. It can only be possible after satisfying the academic records and attendance records. The students will need to secure at least or a minimum of 50% marks in the last year’s exam and 75% attendance records.

MYSY Scholarship Last Date

As the last date to apply online for this scholarship has been launched, now the students can apply online before the last date. The last date for online form submission will be 4th March 2024 by which the students can apply online. After getting online registration on time, the students will get rid of server-hanging issues.
