A scholarship amount of Rs. 5000/- will be provided to them. A total of 300 students will be able to get the scholarship amounts.
All those girls who are studying in classes from 1st to 10th will be given financial help and support in order to pursue their full course studies without facing any financial issues. Objectives Of SOF Girl Child Scholarship
The major two objectives of the SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme are to promote and support the education of underprivileged girls, and to empower them with the necessary resources and opportunities required for their academic development. Students will be able to access quality education, acquire essential skills, and work towards a brighter future. This will also bring women empowerment among the school-going students.
Another objective of launching the SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme is to bridge the gender gap in education and create equal opportunities for girls to thrive and succeed in their educational pursuits by which they will be able to contribute an investment towards nation-building. The girls will be advised to apply online before the last date to get timely registration.
Beneficiary Category
The students or applicants who are going to apply online for this scholarship will also need to make sure that they have attained the beneficiary category for which this scholarship has been launched. This scholarship will only be provided to the girl students coming from economically backward communities enrolling in the school pursuing pre and post-matric classes.

Only that number of beneficiaries will be able to get the scholarship amounts after getting selection which has been fixed in the form of a beneficiary target. A total of 300 scholarships will be disbursed this year so that the eligible beneficiaries will get scholarship amounts which mean around 300 students will get selection.
SOF Girl Child Scholarship Amount
The students will be able to get the scholarship amounts that have been fixed by the selection body by which the students will be able to pursue or carry out studies. Each and every eligible girl student will be given a scholarship amount of Rs. 5000/- that will help them to continue their studies till their completion without lacking any monetary allowance.
SOF Girl Child Scholarship Last Date
As the last date to apply online for this scholarship has been launched, now the students can apply online before the last date. The last date for online form submission will be 31st December 2023 by which the students can apply online. Annual Income Limit
The annual income limit that has been maintained by the student’s parents at the time of carrying out earning from their all sources. The students will need to make sure that they have attained the annual income limit that has been fixed by the selection body. The annual income limit of Rs. 2,00,000/- must be maintained by the student’s parents.
Minimum Marks Cut-Off
The students will also need to secure the minimum marks cut-off marks in the last year’s exam in order to get selection. Students need to get at least 60% marks in the previous year’s exam to meet the requirements. If they don’t achieve this, they won’t be able to move forward academically. So, it’s really important for students to concentrate and work hard to get the desired percentage and move on to the next level.
